Here are some of my favorite video resources detailing some reasons to choose to just eat plants.
1. Improve Your Health
Not only a movie but also a great website with loads of information including great recipes. They also have an iPhone and Android apps with recipes, shopping lists, and tips.
Another great documentary, this one detailing not only the health benefits of eating a plant-based diet, but also exploring why these benefits are as well-publicized as they should be. Short version: there are people who make a lot of money from you eating an unhealthy diet and they do what they need to do to ensure that the public stays confused about what is healthy and what is not.
NutritionFacts.org is full of great videos explaining what the latest research has to say.
2. Protect The Environment
A plant-based diet is the number one thing you can do to combat climate change, deforestation, and species extinction. Watch Cowspiracy and check out their website to learn more.
3. Concern for Other Living Beings
Why do we eat pigs yet treat dogs better than some members of our family? Beyond Carnism addresses the psychological and societal factors that lead to this disconnect.
Earthlings is a powerful film about the way animals are mistreated. Be warned, this movie is violent and graphic. You can watch it here.
